Zac Brown Band Brings 2022 Tour to Endicott, NY on Friday August 19th

3-Time Grammy Award Winner to Rock Broome County

ENDICOTT, New York – Broome County Community Charities, Inc. is proud to announce that Zac Brown Band will be bringing their 2022 tour to the 15th annual DICK’S Sporting Goods Open. Endicott will host the three-time GRAMMY Award Winner following the completion of the First Round of the DICK’S Sporting Goods Open, a PGA TOUR Champions (Official Event) on Friday August 19th.

Throughout their career spanning over a decade, Zac Brown Band has had six consecutive albums reach the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart and five consecutive albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. To date, they have sold more than 30 million singles, 9 million albums, amassed more than 10 billion catalog streams and have achieved 16 No. 1 radio singles. They are the second act in history to have topped both Country Airplay and Mainstream Rock Songs charts. They took the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs chart during their 2015 collaboration with the late Chris Cornell on “Heavy is the Head.”

Most recently, Zac Brown Band dazzled audiences with the release of their seventh studio album, The Comeback (Warner Music Nashville/Home Grown Music), deeply rooted in their iconic, original Southern rock sound. The album debuted as the Top New Country Album release and earned the No. 1 spot on the Current Country Album Sales chart. The album’s unifying lead single, “Same Boat,” also swiftly rose to the No. 1 spot at country radio. Recorded at the renowned Southern Ground Nashville studio, the song’s clap-along arrangements feature contributions from the entire band, with melodic vocal harmonies, brisk percussion, and the lively violin. The New York Times raved that fans “are likely to find ‘The Comeback’ a fitting title for Zac Brown Band’s seventh studio album. Returning to the raucous, full-bodied sound . . . [it] leans hard into many of its proven strengths, from the playful, ‘Margaritaville’-esque dispatches ‘Paradise Lost On Me’ and ‘Same Boat’ to the lush harmonies and intricate guitar work showcased on ‘Out In The Middle.’ Don’t be afraid to call it by its name.” Rolling Stone said, “Zac Brown Band makes an upbeat plea for peace and coexistence in the new song ‘Same Boat,’” adding it “welds that message to an uplifting melody and pristine layered harmonies.” The album features 15 songs in total, celebrating the country’s collective resilience as a community.

“We are thrilled to welcome back Zac Brown Band this August as part of the 2022 DICK’S Sporting Goods Open,” said Executive Director John Karedes. “ZBB has been the one band our fans have continuously asked us to bring back since their amazing sold-out show in 2014.” added Karedes.

The DICK’S Sporting Goods Open will be hosted at the En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott, NY August 15th-21st. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday December 17th at 10 AM at Ticketmaster.com. The ticket will allow the holder to enjoy both Friday’s First Round of PGA TOUR Champions Golf and the Friday Night Concert.
